Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (or MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru, India, was founded in 1996 as a captive unit to research, IT and product development activities. We started with a focus on topics ranging from CAD, CAE and IT programming for all of the group’s business units.
The establishment of MBRDI is in line with the Mercedes-Benz AG group’s ambition to attract the world’s best engineering talent, and to form a global footprint for its R&D and IT competencies. At MBRDI, we aim to partner closely with suppliers in India for our dynamic activities in the area of product development.
